These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Family Survival Score website and assessment (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service is

The Family Survival Score is a free educational tool that produces a directional readiness score and summary based solely on the answers you provide. It is designed to help you understand how financially prepared your household may be. It is a general educational resource only.

Not professional advice

The Service does not provide financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and nothing in your score or summary should be relied upon as such. Your score is directional and is based only on the limited information you provide. It is not a diagnosis of your financial situation and does not account for your full circumstances.

Before making any financial decision, you should speak with a qualified, licensed professional who can review your complete situation. Any decision you make based on the Service is your own responsibility.

Your information

To receive your results you provide certain contact details. Your use of the Service and our handling of your information are also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to collect information about others without authorization.

Intellectual property

The Family Survival Score name, logo, content, and the assessment itself are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without our written permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the results will meet your expectations.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
